Love this idea. That throw — and how my dad raved about it — lives in my memories. He’s eager for the season to start and would love to see this too, I bet!
His arm was a thing of beauty when he was playing...but at 51, I'm not sure I'd want to see that throw now...plus there's a good chance he could overthrow and blowout that aging arm. Some things are best left to our memories rather than being painfully reminded that old age robs all of us and truly sucks...
I get it, Rick, but four years ago he threw out the first pitch at 94 mph. Guessing he’d still have a good enough arm to chuck it to third, even if it’s not a laser. Thanks for reading.
Love the idea. Mariners have always focused on the past, since they are unwilling to do what it takes to be relevant now and in the future.
Hi Ed, well, they didn’t do it the first time, not sure why they’d necessarily do it this time around but hope they will. Have a good afternoon.

Hi MaryAnne, good morning, thanks for reading. Hope the Mariners will do it!

Thanks Goto, great stuff as always. Maybe they could play Niehaus' call for the ages?
Seems like they will, Gary. One of his best calls. Thanks for stopping by the site.
Great idea (and Shannon needs to get over herself).
Thanks Lisa, I maybe used poor judgment with Shannon. We used to be friends. Wish we still could be. Thanks for reading.
Good idea.
Thanks Greg, have a good day, and thanks for reading.
