Did I make a mistake in writing about my wife’s dismissal, and did I leave out some deserving hosts from my top-10 list of Seattle’s all-time best sports radio shows?
No room for second guessing Jim! Your posts are honest and written from the heart. That is what your readers enjoy. Hopefully the relationship with your friend improves over time. Your top 10 list was a fantastic walk down memory lane! I would have ranked The Professor a bit higher but hey, that’s just me.
Funny. I was sort of hoping there would be an "honorable mention" piece. The Fish could be on that one, for instance. Bob Roberts, and Seth are also likely on that list.
“You could be a jackass of a salesman who’s done some shitty things in his life, but if you sell me a good car at a good price, you’re OK by me. And I don’t want to be a part of your dysfunctional family anyway.”….Priceless!!..tell your wife to get a cart girl job at your golf course, margaritas on the house..
Just thinking about your wife’s situation, despite all the craft beer and alcohol, West Coast culture is uptight. I’m a Seattle native and things are different in regards to drinking on the East Coast.
Keep writing Jim! Your drama is always entertaining! Go Cougs!
I only listened to him when he was working in Everett, but I felt Jeff "The Fish" Aaron was a great radio-sports-show host.
I forgot about ( the fish )
Thanks for bringing him up
I liked listening to him.
I wonder did Mitch run him off ?
I ran into the fish at a casino and told him I missed him on KJR.
He told me he doesn't miss the drama.
I hope he is well

Locke has always had Seattle’s back when it came to the Sonics. Same with Seth Everett, remember him?
