I’m 59 and have lived in the suburbs my whole life. My wife and I are tired of neighbors. Not that they are bad, a few we have lived by for over 30 years, but it is time to move. We’re building a house on five acres outside of Battle Ground and will see how it feels to live in the trees. Go Cougs!

Jim - you are so wild! You have such a great personality - In some ways it’s crazy that you are a loner at heart. How about inviting the neighbors over for a barbecue maybe a barbecue and to watch a game. You and Kathie are such good company that I bet they would love it and you would enjoy it in the end!

Cooler heads prevail. You didn’t overreact at beginning and put the odds in your favor and everything works out. When your wife is in receptive mood you want to hint that you would like to win every blue moon. Plant the seed. When the boys have kids your days in Bend will be numbered. Just a predict there.

I actually live in a neighborhood with exactly the same parking issues. It absolutely cracks me up to see vehicles parked right in front of the no parking sign. Fortunately the fire trucks can still squeeze through.

I feel sorry for the new neighbors of divorce man. You’re a good man Jim figuring it all out in your new neighborhood. As it comes with dogs comes great responsibility to ensure they don’t get in others people shit. Like kids I suppose. Zero chance of your new slogan sticking….accept your roll in good times and bad:) Any Cougs nearby you can buddy up with?
